Just gave Ordinary People my first listen. Perfect Neil Young. Only artist with the balls and vision to write and record an 18 minute song. No fear (or even consideration) of the listener's patience or lack thereof. He's got 18 minutes worth of something to say (and guitar to play); come along if you want.

Looking forward to the album.

Ditto on jmb173's comment on Powderfinger. Love the version of it on CD I.

The band on the new album is also supposed to be the touring band, I understand.

Powderfinger (Live Rust version) is my all-time favorite Neil Young tune. Now I get it as an acoustic mp3. Excellent. Definitely looking forward to getting Chrome Dreams II this week.

When Devo Covered 'Hey Hey My My' with Neil in the 70's, this track remains one of all time favorite songs / video clips.

I LOVE Ordinary People.

Listening to that reminds me of what is missing from music today. It's a certain authenticity... maybe you can call it substance, or even heart... that bands don't seem to have as much today as they did back then. No one can ever say that Neil Young has the best voice in the world but, even still, you are almost forced to listen to every word he sings because he is actually saying something.
