I had the pleasure of producing Wilco when they came to Northwestern this past spring. I got to hang out with the guys back stage and as part of a charity give away we had them sign a Guitar Hero guitar. Hearing Nels Cline say he wished he was better at Guitar Hero was pretty funny. Jeff Tweedy also described Chicago's Norshore as a "wedding cake" although he admitted he didn't really know what that meant.

that's very cool alex. someone asked me what rock starts i'd want to meet yesterday. i honestly don't want to meet rock stars in the "fan" sort of way. but if i could "bump into" a rock star at a cocktail party, nels and jeff would be at the top of my list.
